Ruth Beckford, a former member of the Katherine Dunham Dance Company, teaches an intermediate to advanced class in African-Haitian dance using the Katherine Dunham technique. Includes barreĢ, isolation, across the floor, dance pattern, and Yanvalou exercises. Originally filmed as a KQED-TV program.
